Cooperation between Yunus Emre Institute and TAI



A summer internship program protocol was signed between the Yunus Emre Institute and the Turkish Aircraft Industry Joint Stock Company (TUSAŞ). Within the scope of the protocol, it is aimed to strengthen the networks of TAI and the Institute abroad to support scientific activities. The Yunus Emre Institute (YEE) signed a protocol with TAI, one of the most important institutions in the field of aviation and space in Turkey, to implement a summer internship program in the field of high technology.


The cooperation protocol was signed by the President and CEO of TUSAŞ, Temel Kotil, and the Yunus Emre Institute’s President, Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş.



It was stated that Turkish and foreign students who want to participate in the summer school and internship program to be held within the scope of the Turkish Academic and Scientific Cooperation Project (TABIP) carried out under the auspices of the Presidency and carried out by YEE, can apply through the institute's centers abroad.



In addition to the signed protocol, the development of scientific, academic, and commercial cooperation through the Institute's centers abroad strengthen TAI's overseas networks within the scope of the Point of Contact Fellowship Program (PoCFP - Contact Point Fellowship Program). The program was initiated by the Institute, and the cultural development of the Institute, to support YEE's cultural and scientific diplomacy activities.


It was noted that the application conditions for the summer school and internship program will be shared on the websites of YEE and TUSAŞ in the coming days.
